Get Rid of Fleas and tick

our dog prince is now having this creature name flea and tick, it pisses me off because our prince have a thick fur, we find it hard to take those creature to his fur and our dog doesn't like to be held down, we cant bath him now because he just had his booster. the vet told us that after 10days that will Be the time we can bath him, now we are using this powder that we bought in the mall, its not that effective because his still scratching everywhere, me and my sister are now worried, we don't like our dog be bald and full of those creature its gross.. and now his fur also tangled. we are now trying to find ways of how to clean our prince with out using water.
